I have been feeling this way each time this time of day for the last 3 days. Like I am super drunk, dizzy, can't think, today I had to hold onto the walls and the door to not tip over. I don't know what it is but I had my husband call my doctor and she said just drink juice O.o
my bp is 130/85 and heart rate is 80 (I have a home monitor for this cuz my husband has high bloodpressure so he checks his)
is that good? bad? I dunno what to do
Edit, lol batteries were old in the blood pressure monitor. Replaced em with fresh ones. I am 114/75
Hi, im exactly the same ! i go all dizzy and cant stand still like im drunk ! mine is due to blood pressure being low when i stand up ! its wierd but i just sit down and eat something sugary and it helps ! it should ease off soon.mine did and hardly get it now ! good luck with your pregnancy xx
I get that way too, i'm not sure what it's causes by, but I think it has something to do with the change in distribution of blood. Your body is giving your uterus/baby (depending on how far along you are) a lot of blood flow to keep it nutrient-rich, and when your brain doesn't have as much as its used to, you can feel dizzy.
It also could be low blood sugar from not eating enough, hence the juice, which would give you a little boost.
I'm sure there are other causes too, but these are the most common I think.
I feel it a lot when I stand up (technical term is postural hypotension), so if that happens to you then get up slowly while taking slow deep breaths as not to faint. I've heard that's really common in early pregnancy.
Ty all for your answers. I really think it was low blood sugar because after i drank the juice it really helped. In the beginning of the pregnancy all i was eating was fruit. But these last few days i ran out and havent eaten as much. Will have to get back into the habit because it only started after i stopped the fruit and sugars. I do have some mini lolly's for when i dont like the taste in my mouth, might keep those handy for when i feel dizzy too
