Hi all, I just found out i'm pregnant and I should be about 5 weeks. I've had some cramping since getting a positive test last week and I spotted brown for 8 from 4dpo to 11dpo. Anyway, today I had some pink spotting for about 10-20 minutes, no cramps. It gradually got very light until it stopped. I haven't had any since but i'm freaking out now! I haven't seen a doctor yet (i'm making an appointment tomorrow for my first visit). Should I be worried about the spotting? I just can't help but think the worst and I just want to cry.
I've had a light bleed and spotting at 6 weeks which is when they did a HCG test and everything came back fine. Then again, I had a light bleed at 7 weeks which was also the same day of my dating ultrasound and everything was fine and we got to hear the heartbeat. Then two days later, I had a bit heavier bleeding and spotting afterwards. I went to the ER, my blood work came back good and my cervix was closed. I go tomorrow for a follow up blood test and ultrasound. I was convinced the first two times that I was miscarrying. All I can say is stay positive and try not to worry as hard as that may sound. Bleeding in pregnancy does not always necessarily mean the worst. Trust me, I know it's hard not to worry and freak yourself out. I've talked to some friend who have had babies and almost all of them told me that at one point or another they either had spotting or bleeding in their first trimester. Try to relax and make yourself an appointment with the doctor. Have them check your blood HCG levels. I hope everything goes well and is okay.
Don't have a good answer for you but wanted to let you know you're not alone. I'm 6 wks 5 days and I've had some pink spotting too. It totally is freaking me out. Hope all is well with you and your LO.
