Just don't feel good

I don't really have any morning sickness, but I feel terrible. Nothing tastes good, but I feel worse if I don't eat frequently. I don't know how else to describe it other than just feeling bad.... anyone else in the same boat? Is there anything that helps you?

I have felt like this for the last 2 days - not morning sickness but if I don't eat almost continuously I feel yucky. I've not had too many problems at night but last night I woke at 2.30am and I had to lay in bed eating ginger nut biscuits because I felt so poorly

Thank god its the weekend, I am hanging today!

I've felt the same way!! I keep expecting to feel the need to throw up but I never do...I just feel so blah (especially when I get up in the morning). I guess you could call it bad nausea but sometimes I wish I could just get on with it and throw up bc then I may get some relief!!

That's exactly how I feel. All I want to do is lay in bed all day..which is NOT possible.. I just want so badly for the barfing part to come so I can feel better. This hanging over the toilet and hoping it will come is not fun. I always feel like it's about to come up, just never does. Food is almost unbearable. I eat fruit. That's mostly it. Oranges seem to help for a short period of time. If I eat an orange it seems to take away the nausea briefly. I did get to eat crackers, cheese, and cold ham last night for dinner. My "large" meals are about the size of my Preschooler's meals, if that. And I usually can only stomach that once a day, the rest of the time it's snacking. I'm down 5 pounds. Which doesn't make me sad, I could stand to lose some, but I'm worried about baby getting what he/she needs. Hopefully my vitamins are taking care of that. I've started taking them at night before bed. That way I'm asleep so they can't add to the nausea so much. It's pretty awful, my first two kids I didn't have it this bad...

That's interesting- I have found oranges to help too. And pre-pregnancy, I really didn't like them. Also, mints help for a bit.

I've definitely been feeling like this as well for the past couple of days! I haven't thrown up but I've been feeling gross unless I eat lots of small meals / snacks (which honestly I don't even really feel like eating but do cuz I feel sick if I don't). My lower back is kind of achey, I'm mildly crampy, and I'm nothing short of EXHAUSTED. I find that a glass of milk helps me with the sick feeling - I'll have to give oranges a try!

Same here - what you're describing IS morning sickness though. It doesn't just mean vomiting. Some women never vomit with it.

I felt this way and my OB suggested I try taking Zantac 150. It really helped!
