13 weeks & throwing up?

Okay so this pregnancy has been a breeze pretty much with of course the usual nausea, and other small symptoms but when I hit 11 weeks & 6 days I started throwing up, & bad. It hasn't stopped either. I've been puking anywhere between 10-20x a day (I wish that was a lie). Its something that comes in like a "storm".. like ill puke the 10 or 20x all within a half hour & be okay for the rest of the day. Its not the same time everyday but its happened every single day since 11wks6days. My next appt is Tuesday & ill be sure to mention all this but I just wanted some opinions. Oh I should add I haven't gained any weight so far but lost over 10lbs and that was before the puking started. I haven't been able to check my weight in over a week cause I don't own a scale. Should I be concerned?

I thought after 12 weeks everything got better?

Thanks in advance ladies and sorry so long

Oh wow I'm so sorry you are dealing with that! I've only thrown up a few times (which I'm glad because I HATE to throw up) but I've been nauseous 24/7 for the past 3 1/2 weeks and I'm miserable! I almost wish I could just wake up in the morning and throw up (not 10 or 20x though!!) and then feel better the rest of the day! I can't believe yours didnt start until 11 wks!! I thought ms was usually supposed to end around 12 wks! I'm paranoid about throwing up too much and getting dehydrated so I'd probably give my dr a call and just let them know what's going on...that seems like a lot of throwing up to me!! Good luck and hopefully it doesn't last long

I was just coming on to post something similar. I have been fine so far, maybe just gone off certain foods, but as of yesterday I have started to feel really sick, particularly as the day goes on. Like now I feel sick

There was me thinking I was lucky enough to get away with it, particularly as I have 2 bubs in there, but it appears it was waiting until I didn't expect it.

I have been nauseous since week 4 (I'm 12w5d now) and the only time it let up was when I ran out of prenatals over the weekend and had to wait until that Monday to get it refilled. Did you recently switch medicines of some sort?

Oh, and since I got the prenatals again its been worse than ever, with adding extreme dizziness to the mix too!

Hey hun...

Ms can kick in at any time... I had mine from 7 weeks to 18weeks...
My friend had hers from 13 weeks til 22 weeks... everyones different...when I say ms.. I dont mean nausea I mean constant vomiting like ur describing...but all day... like from wheb I woke up to when I fell asleep and even waking up from feeling sick.
I only started gaining weight once I hit the third tri and lost a fair bit even before ms and after...
Weight isnt an issue til later...
Keep your fluids up and let ur doc know if u cant keep any down becausr the only real concern is dehydration...

At your next appt let them know and they can prescribe something for u which I eventually took coz I couldnt handle working full time and vomiting 10 times a day. ..
Its totally safe for.bubs and might give u some relief... if u cant cope make an appt and get a prescription for it...

Hope u feel bettwr soon

Yes unfortunatly it can kick in at any time. I had it from 4 weeks to 36 weeks when I delivered with my daughter and I'm 14 weeks nearly and been being severely sick for the past 10 weeks. 8 admissions to hospital for rehydration and a crazy amount of anti medics. Hopefully it will Subside for us both soon good luck x

It wasn't as bad as what you are describing, but the first time I threw up with DS was at 12 weeks. I threw up maybe once or twice a week from 12-16 weeks or so and then it eventually went away. Sorry! Sounds pretty bad-- have you talked to your Dr/MW about it? They can prescribe medication to keep it under control.
