miscarriage..fall down stairs

ladies... my friend who was just 4 months miscarried yesterday after falling down the stairs..she was carrying a laundry basket... we all thought she would be ok.. i mean she was barely showing until she started bleeding heavily.. she was only 16 weeks.. and the ER doc said he see's it ALL THE TIME... im posting this not to make anyone paranoid.. we have enough to stress over! but just be mindful of how fragile what you're carrying even if you arent showing!

OMG that is awful.
Someone I know fell of a horse the other day (we are both horse owners and riders) and she is 20 weeks pregnant. The baby was fine but she had fallen off in flat-out gallop.

So sorry to hear this.

did she hit her tummy? I am sorry to hear.
I keep reading that the baby is so well protected that miscarriages are not related to falling down the stairs which I've done like three times at least already.
