I gotta say, I am getting pretty frustrated lately with people thinking I have my dates wrong. I am 11 weeks along, and yes, I am showing. This is my second child, and from what I hear its quite normal. Its making me very self conscious. It's making me wanna cover up.
Everyone keeps saying I am either gonna have twins, or that I'm farther along than I think. It's getting very annoying. We tried to get pregnant the 2nd time for 7 months. I know exactly when it happened, and I know that I am 11 weeks. Everyone I know comments how big I am, and I don't like it. I also know that most of this is my uterus, and of course bloating.
I feel you! I'm 12 weeks with my first, and for some reason I definitely already have a little bump. I have some bloat, but it's mostly baby as its hard to suck it in. It almost feels like there's literally a wall in my stomach that prevents it from me sucking it in all the way. People have made comments like, "oh! You're definitely getting a little pudge!" yeah, because that's funny..
Isn't it rude how people start commenting on your body as soon as you're pregnant?!
We have to develop a thick skin and/or tell people where to go! I'm sure you look spot on, like you said it's normal in subsequent pgs, I too am showing. X
Yes I'm 12 weeks on Thursday and I am starting to show. My mum commented on it. I've had severe hyperemesis so the tummy will stick out as I've only really started eating properly again on meds and this is my second pregnancy cx
Let's be sure to raise our children with tack, manners, and social skills.
That is just plain rude.
I believe it to be very normal to show earlier with your second! Doesn't take away from the awful feelings you have as a response to people's comments. Don't feel anything less than perfect and right on track because of people's ignorance.
