Pregnancy and Herbal Tea?

Hi all....

This is my 2nd pregnancy (the first ended in a MC @ 13 wks). My husband and I are big tea fans, and just bought some today but then realized the herbs that are in it might not be okay to use in tea during pregnancy.

I've tried doing research online to get opinions and suggestions from medical pages about what herbs are not to be ingested during pregnancy, but am still on the fence.

Do you have any experience with herbal teas during pregnancy, and if so, were there any negative complications with the baby as a result?

Don't drink raspberry leaf tea till the third trimester. Other then that, most teas should be fine in moderation. Herbs are more dangerous in tinctures and more concentrated forms. Like camomile, its fine in tea, but in more concentrated forms, its an anti inflammatory.

Thank you both for your responses. I know we just picked up some herbal tea that has marigold in one and hibbiscus in another. Both of those herbs I've read mixed thoughts on.
