Burping till the cows come home

Ok, I ma only around 4 1/2 - 5 weeks but I have started burping....a lot! I know this can be a sign but the more sick I feel the more I burp and I feel sick if I don't eat often enough, eat to much, drink to fast smell anything strong sit still to long, move to much....you get the picture, not really but queesyness just like mild travel sickness at the moment.

Any way, has anyone had this burping problem that can offer help on how to prevent or at least calm it down. It's starting to get embarrassing already as there not subtle. people keep looking at me funny as it's not something I usually do a lot of. plus, getting to the pointe where your burping every few seconds is not fun!

I also have no idea how to stop it, but I will say I had really bad burping constantly (no sickness though) as one of my very first symptoms before I even got my BFP. I'm about 5.5 weeks now and while I still burp more than I did prior to pregnancy, it's calmed down a lot from when it started.

Fingers crossed it'll do the same for you!!

I had this really bad with dd2. It went by about 10 weeks, so hopefully it won't last you much longer.
I've got it with this pregnancy too, although not as bad.

Some people say its impossible to have pregnancy symptoms so early on, I had pregnancy symptoms from 2 days after Ovulation. With both pregnancies. I too had the "extra wind" for the first few weeks! It did calm down though.

I've got this too although not as bad as you describe! But I never ever burp so every time it's taking me by surprise, not enjoying it at all & can't think of any way to stop it fingers crossed it's only for a little bit longer!
xo.

lol, I hardly ever burp, but I have been belching, not just burping it's proper belches! my work colleagues and friends keep looking at me funny and asking if I'm ok. none of them know I am pregnant but if this carries on they may guess!
I should think myself lucky its that end and not the other though! lol.
Also glad I am not the only one this is happening to.
Burping was the first symptom for me, started before I even got my BFP, so I believe some people can get very early symptoms of fertilisation and possible implantation.

I still have this now and I'm 11 weeks. It seems to be mostly when I lie down at night and stretch out. Hubby finds it hilarious.

yeah my hubby wants to enter me into a belching completion as he is convinced I will win. He is also trying to convince me to learn to burp the alphabet and various words. apparently my burping is causing him great amusement!
