Over excited, everything okay?

Just looking for some reassurance, especially from those who have been pregnant before had this happen and everything been okay.

In the last 2 days I've been a bit all over the place. DH got very nervous when he found out there were two,so I got upset too. He is fine now, doubly happy actually and he is also worried all the upset could have hurt us. Plus we need to move so we will probably putting all our savings into a house, so been all over the place about this. I do have some normal serene moments, but have been over excited and upset quite a bit too. Everything will be okay won't it? I'm lucky that fertility clinic will be scanning me anyway next week but please tell me everything is okay!

I'm sure your babies are too busy growing to notice your upset or excitement! We too are looking for a new house as our current house isn't big enough for 3 kids. It's stressful so I know how you feel! I've read on here before it's what you do as a result of stress that affects your baby e.g. If your diet goes rubbish, you forget to eat or you are really sleep deprived. I think amongst all the upset and excitement you have to keep taking care of yourself and you'll all be fine

Thank you, I must say with all the nausea my diet is crap too lol, but I am trying to eat better and take a vitamins though. I do sleep well though

If we get the house the "good" thing is we don't have to move out of this one quickly. We will just do it up slowly and move in before the babies arrive. We could hardly have 1 child here let alone 2

Lol I am preaching here, the reality is as soon as I get hungry the nausea starts too! I'm eating way too many cakes and drinking pop as it seems to work to settle my stomach

Our house situation isn't improving fast at all, we can't even sell our old one at the moment! I think we may have to rent it out long term and try and get a doer-upper but I'm not sure how we'll manage that with our boys and working!!

I really wouldn't worry at all honey. Emotions and pregnancy go hand in hand. Your body is designed to cope with it.
I have has my fair few moments over my pregnancies of being upset, and my two girls are fine. Particularly with dd1, and I was going through quite a difficult time.

Thank you so much girls Pregnancy is such a new thing to me. When I was first pregnant I was literally scared to sneeze too strongly or get up to quickly, and walked around extra slowly. I am going to try and relax more and eat better (said she as she munched some salt and vinegar crisps lol )

You're pregnant, don't feel guilty about eating naughty food every now & then. Says she who has just put my 13 month old daughters chocolate buttons in my pocket to have a sneaky munch on at 9am. I will buy her another packet later I promise

We are looking to move too. We only moved here a year ago but with 4 children in a 3 bedroom house, it's a tight squeeze not matter 5. Looking for a 4 bedroom house which is hard as there doesn't seem to be many in my area :/ As long as we find one before baby comes, I'm not going to stress!

But just relax and enjoy this pregnancy. Think of the good things like right now you are able to walk without waddling

Dont feel guilty or bad about anything. Pregnancy hormones suck at the best of times so that will make you go all over the place plus you have had a double bonus knowing there are 2! That is bound to leave you with all sorts of spiralling emotions.
As for food - as long as you are eating thats all that matters at the moment until the dreaded MS/nausea sods off!
Your doing great! And your little bubbas are baking away in there happy as larry! Everything will get sorted and itll be brilliant!

Yeah don't worry too much! Too much stress is never good but I'm sure it's extremely rare that it ever actually causes harm to your babies, especially so early! When I was pregnant with my first, me and my SO fought a lot, I cried A LOT, I worried and stressed myself out so much. But hey my little girl is almost 2 years old and totally fine. I know it's hard not to worry especially with your first pregnancy, but you will be fine!

As far as walking slowly and stuff, LOL you can do anything you used to do before! Our tummies are like super protectors, your babies are safe!!
