Possible UTI?

Unsure whether I have the early signs of a UTI but especially after waking up at 5am I went for a wee, but I felt like I still needed a wee. I held it off about ten minutes to see if the feeling would go, didn't wee much and then still on the toilet I felt like I needed to wee more but I couldn't.

What's best to drink to help this? Because I'll start now to help flush it out. I don't think it's a UTI yet, I had one when young and it was pain and desperation for a wee beyond belief every ten minutes while on holiday.

I know cranberry juice is good? Or it was recommended back then?! I pretty much drink only milk as that's the only thing I crave, so I'm thinking that may not be good for me.

Has anyone else had this sensation of needing to go shortly after you've been?!

I don't know if it's the way I'm lying, but I'm getting the odd twinge in the lower left abdomen too :/ which I've just noticed has happened about five or six times in about fifteen minutes. No idea if that's anything to worry about.

Gosh I can be a big hypochondriac sometimes...

Cranberry juice is good and water to 'flush out' your system. I've had what you describe and managed to stop it becoming anything worse by drinking lots and having a big wee! Hope it's not the start of a uti

The worrying thing is the twinges now. I got just what felt like an electric shock kind of twinge come from my cervix.

I've experienced odd little twinges before pregnancy similar before so I'm trying not to worry as there's no blood when I go for a wee.. Eugh every little thing makes me worry!

I have decided most pregnant women are one big ball of worry for the majority of their pregnancies. I included.
But I am thankful for lack of nausea yesterday and hopefully today!

with uti i get extreme kidney pain, urge to wee straight after going, discomfort when weeing and cramps.

its best to see doc and get it confirmed and get antibiotics to shift it as later in pregnancy it can bring on early labour x
