Tiniest Spot of Blood after bowel movement *TMI*

Hi,

Sorry if this is too much information but I am a little worried, I'm 6w +1d.

Just had a bowel movement about an hour a go which hurt a bit as I've been taking iron tablets, which make me a bit constipated. Went for a wee half an hour after, and saw the tiniest spot of blood on the tissue, with a bit of discharge.

Not sure if its from vagina or other area, and now I'm panicking, had so much strain already as they thought pregnancy was ectopic which it isn't, but now I'm so paranoid I am going to lose it.

Should I call doctor right away or wait and see if I have any more?

And I have had some cramps today but they are more ligament pain which I have had for weeks.

Any advise will be so appreciated.

You could have just strained and caused it to bleed a bit. You can always call your midwife/doctor if it will make you feel better! Just keep an eye that you don't start having more bleeding or worsening cramps.

Keep an eye on it, it is probably due to strain.
If it persists for a few hours maybe call midwife/doctors.

I spotted a little but I stopped after an hour, I still called midwife and I had an early scan.
Keep us updated xxx

I agree, it sounds like that's what it is.

But keep a close eye and if it gets worse then call your midwife for some reassurance.

If you are constipated it could just be a little tear inside you bottom that has bled a little. My friend had lots of problems in that area when she was pregnant. Try not to worry xx

I had this happen a few days ago, and never had any more spotting.
