Gestational Sac Size?

I'm 4 weeks and 2 days and I've just been told by the EPU that my gestational sac size is 1.5mm - I forgot to ask them if this was normal. Does anyone know if this is a normal size for how many weeks I am?

Also my HCG levels for yesterday were 1257, is this normal too? xx

Hi,

I was going to go the EPU today but was told that it was pointless as they wouldn't be able to scan me, I am 4w & 3d so I would be interested to know if this was right. Also why did you go EPU, I am bleeding at the moment, having a period or losing it, not sure which at the min.

Sorry for the questions,
x

Hi girls, just so you know, I went in for a transvaginal scan last Tues and according to my dates I was dead on 5 weeks and all they could see was a gestational sac. I don't know what my HCG levels were but they were normal apparently. (was whisked in for suspected ectopic, was ok though!)

The sonographer originally said I was 6 weeks but changed her mind when I queried her..it wasn't reassuring but it was so early, dates can be out apparently. Alarm bells rang when she said she thought she saw the beginning of a fetal pole..I'm not quite sure how or where as I didn't see anything other than a black blob - not even a yolk..so I think she was guessing a bit.

Try not to worry though! Easier said than done though
