I'm just having some coconut water (I was thirsty and really can't manage drinking so much water!!) and read that it could help with constipation did some looking up and read that it can also help with NAUSEA!! So I've just downed a can of it (I really was thirsty!) and I'm hoping hubby picked up a load more!
Hey hun, I have been drinking coconut water even before getting pregnant. It's known to be quite a healthy natural drink. I think it's best when you can actually get it fresh from the coconut versus in the can. I have been craving it even more now I guess that I'm lucky my parents have coconut trees at their house, so they try and bring me some whenever they visit. I'm at nine weeks and don't have much of an appetite due to feeling quesy, but surprisingly, even the soft meat tastes delicioussss! I really think it helps
I've had it a few times before I was preg and since I really suck at drinking enough water (or any!) it makes a good alternative!!
Unfortunately it didn't stay down, but I already knew I was going to throw up...was just trying not to!
That's awesome that your parents have coconut trees!! I'd love some fresh coconuts, but don't see any young ones around here (the ones that contain water before it turns to milk) and the regular ones at the store never seem to have much milk in them at all...usually meaning they're OLD and skanky! =/
