Body parts falling asleep???

Hello ladies. Had terrible sleep last night because my body kept falling asleep. If I slept on right, right would fall asleep, left, left would fall asleep and soooooo on the night went. I called the nurse this morning to ask if this was normal. She was surprised to here me complain of this so early but said it's probably hormones and fluids and to call back if it persists. She also told me to drink more water.
We shall see if water helps... I'm swimming in it, I've drank so much today but I'm wondering is anyone else having this? Or am I a total freak? LOL Also, how much water are we soposed to be drinking these days? How much are you all drinking?

Thats exactly what I mean. Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think I was a freak. Hahha!
The water increase seems to have helped a lot. Last night things still went a little tingly but not "dead arm". I didn't wake up nearly as much because of it. I think I drank nearly 14+ glasses of water yesterday and spent 1/2 the day in the bathroom but I think good sleep is worth all that running.

superp, glad you posted! I am getting dead arms/legs whenever I try to sleep. It was really bad this week but I was able to sleep through (well besides waking up for the loo!!)

I haven't really had MS but sleeps been a real issue this week trying to get comfortable... I've been drinking like 2 liters of water as well and in the night I wake up really really thirsty! x

SuperP, thanks for posting. I'm experiencing this too -- so much so, that sometimes I wake up at night because my arm's asleep. More water eh? I might just float away.

I am only getting this in my arm. It all depends on what side I am laying on. I thought it was due to increased blood flow.
Shall try the water, although I am up 3-6 times through the night peeing now LOL LOL LOL LOL.

Good to know others are experiencing this also
