Pregnancy Fatigue at 5 weeks!

In comparison with other things that make you sleepy ie; concussions, anxiety meds, recooperating from all-nighters- pregnancy fatigue is THE WORST! I didn't suffer from it so bad in my last pregnancy, but I do remember when I was pregnant with my daughter, and another pregnancy that ran until 8.3w, the fatigue was this bad. I guess I was lucky in my sons pregnancy, but I am totally hitting a brick wall again in this pregnancy, in terms of how much I can physically push myself to do each day!

Im right there with you! I actually felt really great until about 30 minutes ago. Managed to clean my kitchen and then hit the wall. I can barely hold my eyes open and I have 2 hours until my sons nap time. I think I might cry! I was never tired with him but this pregnancy is really taking it out of me.

This was my main symptom during first tri, it was soo bad. It went away around 12 weeks only to return a few weeks later and I'm unfortunately still dealing with it. I think our bodies are just working so hard to grow a human so of course we're exhausted, hang in there

My fatigue was debilitating. I spent the first 20 weeks in a fog. Get up, go to work and slug through the day, get home, walk the dog for some exercise and lights out by 9:30pm, repeat. On the weekends I would just nap all day. I know I was pregnant with my first so I could afford to do that but nothing in the entire world helped with the fatigue.

One of the first symptoms in this pregnancy was fatigue. I can't go a day without a nap, at times I wake up more tired than the night before. Hope it eases soon and I can function properly lol

Aw I sympathise, pregnancy tiredness is awful. I had it the full first trimester with my daughter then it got much better. This time around, it's still lingering around at 13 weeks but I'm holding onto hope that my energy will come back soon! I hope it gets better soon for you!

I've been super tired too. Just exhausted feeling. I just want to lay around all day, but I sure can't with a four year old! I don't wake up refreshed either... I wake up feeling like I need a nap.

I'm the same. When I was pregnant with my son 4.5 years ago, I was at uni and had a hell of a commute AND a walk every day, and I did get nauseous but never tired. This time around (and in my last pregnancy) there is NO WAY I could do that!! Even just walking to the shop and back makes me feel like I've run a marathon. I have to nap every day, and I'm 14+2 now and it's still pretty bad! (Better than it was early on though). You'll get through it! Just don't take on too much, remember it is temporary and worth it
