BFP after a Miscarriage

Hey, I just found out today that I am 4 weeks pregnant. Going to the doctors tomorrow for a check up and some blood tests. I miscarried in October 2015 at 6 weeks so I am cautious and worried this time round. I have been cramping and I have watery cm. Is that normal? I feel nauseous as well and hoping that ms doesn't kick in yet lol
Thank you

Congrats! Yes, lots of CM and cramping is very normal early on. If it's so painful you need to lie down and can't carry on with your normal activities, then I would get yourself checked out, especially if you have any bleeding or spotting. But otherwise, yes, very normal.

I had a mc just before I got pregnant with this baby (mc in early April and pregnant in May). And it is naturally really worrying at first, but you do start to relax once you get past the point when you had your mc, so hopefully you'll feel a bit better about it all soon.

I hope your appointment went well. Cramping and extra cm is completely normal, especially early on.

I also had a miscarriage in April and am pregnant again. It is tough, but you'll get through it. I like to chat with other ladies in the pregnancy after a loss section. It is always nice to know that others are experiencing the same thing you are.

Congratulations!

I found out on Saturday that I'm pregnant again. I had an MMC in March that was later diagnosed as a partial molar pregnancy, so feeling very nervous at the moment. I'm also getting lots of AF style cramps and lots of CM and I'm having to remind myself that it's normal.

Going by dates my due date will be April 8th, which is the date I had surgery for my miscarriage.

I am also pregnant after a miscarriage, mine was a mmc I found out at 11 weeks, baby had died at 9. So for me it felt like a long time to wait to get past the point where I'd lost the baby last time, and to my surprise I found that I was still extremely anxious even after that point, and after my 12 week scan. I'm 16 weeks now and still worried, and I wasn't really by this point with my son (first pregnancy). It's normal to be anxious with a pregnancy after loss, and there is not much you can do except hang on in there and let time passing reassure you, and remember that having had one miscarriage before doesn't raise your chances of having one again. These boards are full of ladies who have had a miscarriage and gone onto have a healthy baby. Just try to stay busy and take each day as it comes. Today you are still pregnant!
Cramping is horrible because it's so worrying, but all the wisdom says it's ok as long as you're not bleeding too (and even then may still be ok). Take paracetamol to calm the cramps for the sake of your mental health, lie down as much as you can, have warm baths or use a hot water bottle. Don't worry about increased cm, it's completely normal in pregnancy right from the start and does not indicate anything going wrong. Hugs!

Sorry I posted rather abruptly. As you can see... I've not had an easy time of it.

I had a Chem about 7 years ago and NOTHING since (though haven't always driven myself totally mad with actually TTC)...

I was due to start IVF on Thursday and on Thursday last I found I was pregnant.

I've spent the time since googling my symptoms and chances of m/c given my gynae issues. I don't think it will calm down. I just need to try and focus on this moment... ❤️

I'm due April 3rd. Was 4 days late for when I tested... 5 weeks TODAY. Obviously this is the most pregnant I have ever been! I am scared, excited and nervous in waves!

You should try to take the advice you would give to anyone here if they posted your post. I know it's easier said than done... someone said to me that worrying is like praying for what you don't want. But truthfully we can't control this you know... just do the best we can, for the best chance!

I have lots of watery CM and have had some cramping too... so it's reassuring that others do... I would only worry if the pain was so severe you couldn't carry on what you were doing and if it was accompanied by red blood!! Until then, make the most of it and trust yourself and your body and your baby.

Big

Also pregnant after miscarriage 7 months ago.
I am cramping loads and can't control the worry. Just trying to get through each day. Booking an early scan at 7 weeks so I can have the date in my calendar so I can have something to focus on. Good luck!

Hey, sorry for not replying earlier. I'm due April the 5th ( my wedding anniversary). Some days are worse then others. Today I am having lots of cramps that feel like my period is still coming on and it doesn't matter how much I research and how common it is I can't stop thinking that I miscarried around this time almost 2 years ago. My Hcg is rising like it should and I have another appointment in 2 days time where I am going to ask if I can have an ultrasound to put my mind at ease.
How is everyone else going?

Hey Miss chicka! Glad you updated and that everything is going smoothly so far. I don't know if the worry ever goes away. I am 10+2 today and that is right when I had my D&C last time after finding out I had miscarried. My scan is in a week and I'm pretty nervous about it, but just carrying on anyway. I feel like I have found peace knowing that the worry isn't going to vanish, but that it's normal and it's ok. Somehow accepting that has made me feel a lot better.

I hope you can get that ultrasound at your next appointment and that the coming weeks go by quickly for you!
