Is it normal to not believe that you're pregnant early on?

Hi,

Well, the title says it all. Is it normal to not believe that you're pregnant? I guess my positives were so faint and so many people have bold blue or pink lines that I can't help but wonder why mine are so faint. I'm pretty sure I'm 19 dpo. Definitely could have miscalculated but not by much.

Help?

Well, I’m 38 wks and still can’t believe I’m pregnant, so yes

In the beginning, I kept taking tests because my results were always so faint...I don’t really know if it was due to disbelief persay, but I definitely doubted whether my $1 tests were reliable. Couldn’t really ignore that my period had been missing for so long, though! I think it’s actually pretty common to get faint positives even over a week past AF’s due date...that’s how it was for me, and I’ve had a perfectly healthy pregnancy so far. No worries

Kiram thank you so much for that! That's really encouraging and congrats on your healthy pregnancy so far! I think I'm about 2 days late. I just can't deny three different faint positives, even if they were squinters. I also can't deny how I've felt the last two weeks...but even so here I am asking if anyone else feels the way I do!

Very normal I think. I didn't believe it with either baby until about 22-24 weeks. So about the time movements were obvious and the anatomy scan came back good.

I didn’t believe it with all my pregnancy’s until I saw them on the scans. Even then after the 12 week scan I started doubting again until movements started and o got a belly.

I guess part of the problem I’m having is I’ve only had very faint positives...but that word is plural. Positives. On three different brands. All blue dye though. I had one FRER that might also be a positive but I don’t know if it showed up in the time limit. That being said, since then, all the FRERs I’ve had since have been negative.

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. I saw the gestational sac on an ultrasound almost a week ago. For some reason with this pregnancy I just feel so hesitant to accept it. I keep thinking I don't feel pregnant even though I have some early signs.
