Feelings on NA beer and de-alcoholized wine?

I'm barely pregnant (5 weeks and 5 days) but I'm a bartender and was a frequent drinker before so I know eventually I'm going to miss it. Especially when summer rolls around and I'm craving a pickle beer haha. Plus it's nice after supper just to sit down and have a glass of something. Anyways.

How do you all feel about having an NA beer or glass of alcohol-removed wine? I know there is still a slight amount of alcohol in it, but it's less than <0.5%. (Arguably less than some fruits, breads, etc).

If you think it's fine, or did it yourself, how often would you say it's acceptable to partake in it? Would it be okay say to have one NA beer or one glass of NA wine in the evening each night after supper or just on occasion?

This is my first pregnancy so I haven't really formed personal opinions on a lot of this since I've never really dealt with it. I do know I've had friends who drank NA beer all the time when out and about when they were pregnant and no one really thought anything of it.

Ive never had NA Beer or wine and honestly didn't know they made it. I probably would have partaken in a glass once in a while. Im not a huge drinker but I do love wine.

I've never tried the de-alcoholized wine to be honest, but I really like NA beer. A lot of people say it's disgusting but I drink it regularly sometimes (like before pregnancy) just because I like it lol - especially O'Douls or Beck's.

I wish haha, DH and I bought NA beer and wine one day to try it out and it was awful. Particularly the wine!! Plus it was just as expensive as the real stuff. I've heard certain NA beers are good, but haven't dared buy anymore wine after the nasty stuff I tried.

If you can find something you like I'm sure it's fine - I treat myself to those bottles of sparkling juice, or make fake mimosas with orange juice and club soda. If I could find anything that tasted remotely like wine that was non-alcoholic I'd be all over it, but I haven't been that lucky

I think it's fine. I had the odd wine or beer during my pregnancies. Proper stuff I mean. Nothing in the first tri but maybe a glass of wine with our Sunday dinner or a shandy sat in the garden during summer.

I am afflicted with a terrible malady when pregnant that all alcohol tastes unpleasantly and intensely bitter to me - it's one of my pregnancy tells (this time from 3wks onward.)

Lasts up until the third tri, at which point I treat myself to the occasional small glass of something - though at that point the reflux is so extreme that even they are usually quickly regretted.

I don't think the non alcoholic tastes very good.
However, with my last baby, i had a half glass of wine or beer on occasion (real stuff). Very pregnant in the summer, everytime.

I spent all Christmas on non alcoholic kopparburg and honestly, it was delicious! I've also had a bottle of non alcoholic rose wine but just the one as I wasn't keen on it.

I say go for it, there is more alcohol in some foods I was told by the midwife.
