Is this normal?

I'm around 6 weeks and keep waking in the night with unbearable cramping. It feels like every things contracting even my pelvic floor is contracting. I then wake up and the pain passes in a minute or 2 then I'm back to sleep.. it happened twice last night. No other symptoms of any thing... anyone else had this?

If the cramping is severe and wakening you up I would discuss with GP or MW

I would definitely mention it to your practitioner but it can definitely be normal. I had contraction type cramping with my last couple pregnancies and a few times with this one. If this isn't your first baby you'll likely experience more painful cramping with stretching. Good luck, hun! Hope everything is ok xx
