Have to eat or feel nauseous :(

Iím getting a bit fed up now!
I have to eat savoury things, usually pretty much a full on meal or else I feel queasy.

I didnít get all day nausea with my first pregnancy, a snack would do the trick and afternoon onwards Iíd be fine.
This one is constant. I had a huge dinner and now itís bed time I feel like I need to eat again because Iím feeling sick again.

Iím not sure if itís getting worse, I am quite anxious if I need to be sick and get worked up so Iím hoping I donít throw up.

But also Iím worried Iím already piling on the weight at 8 weeks because Iím eating so much

Also food aversions! So I have to eat what I really crave, or else I still feel sick or simply cannot eat something else. Canít even do cereal, itís too sweet for me.

any remedies to help reduce nausea without eating so so much?!

I take doxylamine aka unisom at night and drink ginger ale in the morning since doing that I have virtually no nausea but I suspect it might rear its ugly head two fold soon

Can you not take a bland cereal? I have the same problem as you, except I am being sick. I was sick yesterday morning because I never ate quick enough from waking, which was just a whole 10 mins I've found rice crispies are my best friend this pregnancy, or weetabix. Also just to eat a piece of basic fruit, apples or banana.

The hubby had made fajitas for me finishing work yesterday, I was hungry and feeling quesy because it but I knew the fajitas would make me sick too, so I had plain pasta. I appear to be struggling with anything with alot of flavour.

Try and buy in healthy things to snack on all day xx

Iím going to get some pitta, carrot sticks, cucumber etc and houmous to keep me going between meals! Something to dip!
Just getting fed up needing a full on meal before bed time
Digestive system is really slow as well so itís making me feel worse!

I really hope it calms down soon rather than gets worse at least! I donít think I could handle it happening the whole 9 months!

Iíll try something with ginger in, see if that helps curb it! I feel too queasy to have my vitamins the last week also

Sipping on a ginger tea could be very helpful as well - but i completely understand your frustration - this morning i woke up and was immediately feeling ill but i was rushed to get to the office so I scarfed down and apple and took my prenatals ... then 30 minutes later i was over the toilet losing it all..
This is such a lovely time.

Allow me to join you ladies.

I am 7 weeks and if I don't eat, I feel sick. I can only eat what "seems like a good idea" at a time. I cant meal plan, or plan ahead at all. I felt extremely nauseous week 4 and 5 until I figured it out. As long as I keep my stomach somewhat full, I am fine. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies (thankfully I can), but also bread and pretzels.
I desperately need sour candy! I bought sour starbursts yesterday and they saved my day
At this point, its about survival, so I eat whatever I can.

My naturopath recommended taking a ginger supplement three times a day for nausea. I haven’t needed it yet. Ginger candies are more delicious!

Can you stomach nuts? I find eating a few almonds or walnuts takes the edge off the nausea when my stomach is empty. (And nuts have healthy fat and protein as a bonus!)

I had this with four of my five pregnancies. For me, I eat a small piece of cheese (a mini babybel normally) every hour in between meals. It really helped to keep the nausea at bay. Good luck!!!

xdxxtx I think you have a point with cheese! I've noticed that the meals I'm craving most to give me a bit of nausea relief have cheese included (literally everything haha)

I've found my digestive system has sped back up a little bit, and I think my nausea has died down a little... Slow digestive system might be making the nausea worse?
Hope I dont speak too soon! But it doesnt seem as bad as some days! I'm far less bloated too!
