URGENT: I need allergy relief...what is safe?

Hello

I desperately need some allergy meds. I used to take Zyrtec before I was pregnant, and didn't need any meds in the winter. But now, that spring is coming, I am in a horrible stage.
Watery and itchy eyes, runny nose, my throat hurts like hell, sinuses are stuffed.

I do not have Dr apt until March 16, and I don't think I can take this.

What is safe to take?

I took Zyrtec while pregnant. I never had allergies until I became pregnant. I was miserable and didnít know why until I asked the dr and she told me to take some Zyrtec or Claritin.

Hope you get some relief!

Thank you!
I was just worried what is safe to take in the first weeks of pregnancy. But as I read online, Zyrtec should be safe.

This is on my list of questions for my next appt. Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, I'm still in the dead of winter so don't have to deal with it yet. I'll be miserable if I can't take my Zyrtec Spring through Fall!

Maybe give your clinic a call or check with a pharmacist. There is good information online, but also a lot of BS.

Zyrtec is safe for long term relief, Benadryl is safe for fast relief. Just follow the instructions and bring it up with your doctor if the problem is still ongoing at your next appointment.
