I just hit the 5 week mark (5 wks 3 days) and I have been spotting (only when I wipe - and very little) on and off for about 4 days. I called my Dr. and she told me that it is common and to call her back if I start to cramp or if becomes heavier.
I stressed at 1st but know I am doing better. My 1st appt. is not until 1/18.
i didnt spot at 6 weeks but i did spot at 14 weeks (after sex) the one time and fingers crossed nothing since, i have cramped terriby at times alway through this pregnancy and i still do now, i was convinced it was over for me on monday night.
i did however misscarry at 6 weeks, and i had nothing like you described ( i no all m/c are different) but i had the WORST pain ever for 2 hours and then bled like a period straight away, i spotted for like 10 mins then it turned into heavy bleading. i dont think you need to worry, just keep an eye on the spotting and notify your doctor xx
brown spotting is normal in pregnancy (especially early pregnancy).
im 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant and i've been experiencing some light pink bleeding/spotting for the last two days but i know its nothing serious. ive also been experiencing cramping which i didnt think would happen, but i know again that its nothing serious.
if your brown spotting gets heavier, then go see a doctor!
I was spotting around 8/9 weeks for about 11 days. It was such a mess and I was so terrified. Then I had a US at 9 weeks and the tech said it's just old blood. As long as it doesn't turn pink or bright red, you don't need to worry. I know it's easier said than done....
