so... spoke to the doctor today about blood tests etc. She said that she would send me for the tests if i wanted but that the lab might refuse to actually test them as there is no real reason for them.

We had a very long chat... and decided that i didnt want them done after all.

If they said my levels were still doubling I would still be worrying until i saw the scan next week.... if they were going down then I would feel twice as upset waiting for next weeks scan. Either way, im not gonna feel any better or im gonna feel worse.

So, next wed is the day we find out if our bean is growing. The longest wait in the world!!

Good luck! I hope everything is ok! I had scans galore at three and four weeks as my bloods showed my hormone levels were more than doubling - but the scans showed nothing. They were worried it might be growing outside the womb and even did a laperoscopy and still didnt find anything. At week five I had another scan and there it was...a blob! But it took an age to find! They are so tiny - must be like looking for a needle in a haystack!

not sure

bbs sore on and off, needing toilet more and eating more.... thats it.... but could all be in my head

I had a scan last week at 5.6wks as had a tiny bit of bleeding... all they could find was a 5mm sac (thats about 4.5wks in size

and im 100% on my dates)

Did they only see a sac for you at 5 weeks?? Did u have to go back after that?
