Crying doesn't hurt the baby, the straight out answer is No.

Stress may hurt the baby so keep stress levels down, healthy Mummy means Healthy Baby.

Crying isnt going to hurt the bubs. I read a research paper once on the effects of stress on the unborn baby, the researchers had done it just after 9/11 on pregnant women who had suffered a loss or been involved in situation somehow, now I couldnt imagine a more stressful time than to go through that sort of thing. The results were healthy happy babies, so I would say the only way stress is going to effect your child is if you get so run down and poorly from it you can't supply the nutrients your baby needs throughout the whole entire pregnancy. Better to have a good cry and let it all out, bubs will be fine!
