Just wondering... I am 8 weeks and two days. Today since lunchtime (now 6pm) I have had cramps on my left side. There is no spotting or anything and I just wanted some peoples opinions to see if they have experienced this at the 8 week mark.

Hi hun, i am 9 weeks today and I have had cramps on and off since finding out basically. actually i had some very sore cramps last friday wen i turned 8 weeks but i kno all is ok coz i went for a scan this week (for other reasons). don't forget now ur 8 weeks u would be due a period around this time if u werent pregnant, every 4 weeks wen u would usually have a period ur body could show some period like symptoms like cramping, even a little bleeding (which is why u hear stories of women finding out really late in pregnancy thinking they had periods) so long as ur not bleeding (which in itself isnt always the end- but always get checked) and the pain isnt unbareable im sure ur fine and it's all normal i duno bowt u but i cant wait to be in the 2nd trimester, this one is so stressful!!!! have a healthy, happy pregnancy xxx
Bam09 - I am at the same stage as you and have been having the same worries. I've had a lot of cramping since last Saturday but no spotting. I've looked it up in my book and also on-line and it says it is really common at this stage of pregnancy as your uterus has grown from the size of a plum to a grapefruit in the space of a couple of weeks.
