Dizziness and Lightheadedness

Hey Ladies,

When I got up this morning, I totally didn't feel right. Felt like my breathing was a struggle and just a bit 'funny.' As I pottered about getting ready for work, suddenly breathing defo became an effort and my vision went and I felt like i was gonna pass out. I sat down until i felt better and then went downstairs and had a big glass fo full fat coke, which seemed to help a bit. I've not quite felt right since though.... getting out of breath just walking up the stairs and still feeling quite lightheaded at various points throughout the day.

I googled it and apparently it is quite common, but seriously shook me up this morning. I'm not sure whether to call and see if I can get a Gp appt for tomorrow or if I'm just being a wuss!

Anyone had similar experiences?

i have felt dizzy and lightheaded for the last couple of weeks, and get out of breath really easily.
i think it's partly to do with me not eating properly due to the nausea.
can often be becaus eo flow blood sugar - which is probably why the coke helped. can also be due to low blood pressure - so worth getting that checked

Yea. If you ever feel something that "may not" be right... go to the drs. That's what they're there for. It's better to be safe than sorry. Check it out love.

On the other hand, I too am light headed sometimes. I find it's when I get up too quickly. And yes, it could've been your blood sugar, which is why the coke helped. Our bodies are going through so many changes, we never know what to expect. But if it happens again, don't hesitate to go get checked out and ask questions to someone who will have the right answers.

WISH YOU WELL..

Thanks Jen,

my first thought was blood sugar, hence heading for the coke! It's just freaking me out a wee bit as I haven't seemed to shake it off all day, despite forcing food down my throat. Might have to see about the blood pressure thing if it keeps up.

thanks for the response!

H

I had this earlier when I nipped to the shop after work. I've worked 9 hours today, nothing to eat because I was throwing up until 1am and then again at 5am and assumed it was just that. Lack of food and sleep. I've come home and made pancakes now I'm doing nothing but trying to stay awake until a respectable bedtime as I'm not in work until 1pm tomorrow.

Hope you feel better soon buddy x
