It is safe to take paracetamol in the 1st tri isnt it?The reason is i had to last night and am pretty certain its ok but just started worrying a bit now.Up to this week i felt hungry almost all day and couldnt stop eatting anyway this week i dont seem to get hungry at all then suddenly im starving but feel very light headed and last night a headache, to the point where the kids or o/h have to do me a meal as i feel like im going to pass out
I have had that frequently during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. It's really important to try to remember to eat, even if it's just a little because it's especially horrible when that happens and you aren't at home!
I have just been to the doctor's about this as well as I have had quite a lot of headaches. The doctor said that paracetemol is fine and will not affect the baby at all. You just have to stick to the normal reccommended dosages on the pack.
If you go to your doctor take into consideration each one is different. I have a nasal infection at the moment and it gets quite painfull, doc advised only one paracetamol a day so I have taken half in the morning and half before bed he wanted to prescribe me a nasal spray aswell but I said no coz he said as far as they know it has no effect on your system which didn't fill me with confidence. But like I said it depends on your doc
