Sharp pain when breathing?

I'm totally just feeling sorry for myself

Anyone else find it hard taking a deep breath?
This evening when I try and take a deep breath I get a sharp pain underneath one of my ribs but round towards the back on the left hand side. Any idea why?

Yea I thought the same, it was in my back/side near ribs, I didnt think it was trapped wind, but my brother insisted it was and gave me the rennie, I then had to admit he was right (which he enjoyed immensly) It can really hurt, I once felt very stupid after going to a+e with really bad pains in my tummy only to be told it was trapped wind, my friends thought it was hilarious, but it hurt soooo much xxx

It really does!! This is the one thing in pregnancy that has brought me so close to tears, it's so painful!!

Thanks for letting me know, I will take some windeze after tea and hopefully feel normal again!

I'm at the doctors tomorrow evening so will mention the trapped wind to him, might aswell get everything free on prescription!!

I laughed so hard watching one of Jedward's performances (think it was the Britney one) that I pulled an intercostal muscle. It hurt for days every time I took a breath!

Defo mention it to your doc tomorrow, though.
