Dreams and other unexpected pregnancy 'symptoms'

I know someone has mentioned this before, but anyone else surprised at this side effect of pregnancy? My dreams are so real, I feel like I haven't been asleep when I wake up. They are like little movies in my head, they make sense, there's a storyline?! So random.

Also, hairy tummy (ewwww, noticed this yesterday, got rid of that sharpish!) and being really thirsty, I never expected these.

ANyone got any others?!

I had a horrible dream last night. I dreamed that I somehow got involved with witchcraft, and these two witches put a spell on me that as soon as I hit 12 weeks, my baby would die, and be replaced by an evil monster baby, one that had been growing inside of me as well. it would kill my baby and take all of it's features, personality everything and I would have to raise it.

Really terrible. And now I feel like I have lost the baby

I've been really thirsty too.... never expected this at all! I'm also not sleeping well, probably because the news is still pretty fresh and I'm anxious. I've always been someone who can sleep until lunch if I can but now struggle to sleep in no matter how tired I am.

Barasti, you wont lose the baby due to a dream!! As much as you wont really turn to witchcraft!! Dont worry.
I had bad nightmares the first 6 weeks.
Side effect I never expected was the BLOAT!! I actually looked less pregnant at 12 weeks than I did at 5 weeks due to the bloating I had early on!
Boobs became huge sooner than I thought too - a B cup to a D cup in 2 weeks!! That has slowed down now thankgod!
I guess the biggest side effect was the amazing tiredness - bed by 8pm every night!

I don't really think any of my symptoms have been unusual. I just think about food all day long. I've never done that before being pregnant.

I Have been having wierd vivid dreams also, every night. I always wake up in the morning with a story to tell my OH, as if he didnt think i was acting strange enough already lol.

I guess the severity of the symptoms has been unexpected in a way. I mean i knew you got morning sickness, sore boobs and tired but you dont really understand until you are pregnant. My boobs have been awful. They have grown huge (i was a DD to start with) and have been very dry and sore but at least now at 10 weeks the morning sickness has gone (for now) and the tiredness has eased a little

The twinges and strectching pains have been quite unexpected, i didnt realise i would get so many little niggles. Ah, its been all fun and games!!
