I've had a million early ultrasounds, and at 5 weeks, all you are likely to see is a tiny gestational sac. If they do an internal, they may see the yolk sac and a fetal pole, but that is a big maybe. The heart doesn't even usually start beating until 6.5 weeks.
Bascially, at 5 weeks, they should be able to tell how think your uterine lining is and if there is a sing of pregnancy in there, and that is about it. If they see anything more, than it would be because you are farther along than they thought.
