After how many weeks is it considered a miscarriage, and not a chemical?

Just wondering really.
Is it only a chemical if you lose it before af is due? Or is it a set number, like 5 weeks?
Thanks

I read a bit about this when i found out i was pregnant, it seems that if yu lose the pregnancy up to around 5 weeks it is considered a chemical. SO you could end up getting your AF a few days late.

I had my chemical at 5+4 so I would say as far as 6 weeks even. I know mine was a chemical as in hindsight I had really low levels of HCG from the start.

Ah right, well I did a bit of Googling and most sites seem to be saying 5 weeks
