Is it safe for me to use gloss paint? We were half way through decorating our halls, stairs and landing before i got my BFP, when i found out i was pregnant it was put on hold. I was so tired and just did not have the energy to even think of decorating.
I want to start it again, but i'm worried that its not safe for the baby and for me.
i'm not 100% but when i went thru my nesting stage with my boy i redecorated my whole flat and was told repeatedly to keep away from the gloss... i think you have to be careful but as i say i'm not positive on that
No it's defo not safe, but there is a company called ECOS (you can google them - they have website) and they do natural organic paint, that is completely safe as they have no VOCs in them. They are slightly more exspensive but worth it. You can paint a room and gloss it with their paint and put new born baby in to sleep in there the same day. V. good would highly recommend. We've used them for every room we have decorated because I have allergy to normal paint. x
