im having some little sharp stabbing pains in my belly which almost feel like theyre goin through to my vagina at times and also a sharp pain on my left side,
my doctor seems to think the pain on my left side is a ligament stretching, but im wondering if the others are anything to worry about as they feel more central? they are different to the early period type pains i had when i was first pregnant.
theyre not really painful and ive had no bleeding, but i just wondered if anyone else has experienced these type of pains at my stage (9 weeks?)
yeah i get this sometimes.
when my cervix moves/changes in anyway i get stabbing type pains. so it could be your cervix decided to move at some point today. for me its like an 'ow ow ow ow ow' pain then after that its gone.
ive been getting the stretching pains today as well. very comforting in a way as at least i know bubs must be growing otherwise my ligaments wouldnt be stretching. xx
I get stabbing type of pains as well. Mostly they are in my left side, but sometimes in back and around my belly. Until today they were on and off in less than a min; but today the pain goes on continuously on my left side. Good thing is the pain is tolerable. As I am around 9w, it's good to know that I am not the only one.
it is just round ligament pain just above the hip and tummy and back sorta area. doctors and midwives tend to say it might be something to worry about if the pain is acompanied with any type of bleeding and to get it checked. xx
