Anyone heard of Ramzi's method to guess baby's gender?

To start off, I must say I'll be delighted whether we have a boy or a girl - like most of you, I'm sure.

Nonetheless, I thought this study was interesting: http://www.obgyn.net/fetal-monitorin...l_location_pg5

Has anyone tried this?

It basically says that the position of your placenta at 6 weeks pregnant is about 97% accurate in indicating whether it's a boy or a girl. If the placenta is on the right of your uterus, then it's a boy and if it's on the left, it's a girl.

They didn't point out a placenta to me at my 6 week scan, they pointed out my yolk sac and corpus luteum though...

I haven't had my baby yet, but when I had my scan at 12 weeks, I asked where the placenta was since I was aware of the Ramzi method. It predicted a boy.

At 16 weeks I had a private gender scan, and at 20 weeks I had my NHS scan, and both confirmed I'm having a boy.

Can you even see a placenta at 6 weeks? I had a scan at 6+4 and we only saw the amniotic sac. That was slap bang in the middle of my uterus though.
