when does your uterus start moving upwards??

Hi Ladies
Was just wondering.. when does your uterus start moving upwards? how many weeks? mine have moved out from about 9 weeks (that is when I started feeling it) but it is now like it has moved up.. up into my abdomen and my upper abdomen and thorax feels stacked (and from my belly button to ribs I'm bigger).......... must say it is uncomfortable!!!
I'm now at 12w (or 14) able to feel my uterus taking up more than 2/3 of my lower abdomen (from pubic bone to belly button). I'm not really showing yet but do have a tiny tummy.
All the second and third time mommies please try to explain what is going on??

Usually around 12 weeks, but you won't get a noticeable bump, till you're about 18 to 20 weeks
there are always exceptions to every rule though . thats just how it was for me.

With my first I started to get a little bump and could feel it slightly above the pubic bone at about 12/13 weeks. I can already feel it a little above the bone at 10 weeks with this one x

I started showing before 18 to 20 weeks with my second pregnancy. Around 12 weeks it rises and depending on your muscles how soon you start showing properly

Normally your top of uterus is at your belly button at around 20 weeks. It's not supposed to rise above your pubic bone until 12 or so.

Any chance you are having more than one?

This will be my third pregnancy. My first pregnancy with my son i didnt start showing untill i was about 6 months my last pregnancy which unfortunatly ended in mc at 13 weeks i was showing at that point. And this time im bigger than ever! I will be 14weeks on friday and like you from around 9 weeks i could feel my uterus growing up and it is very hard. I was convinced i was having twins but there is only one in there! I am quite small but i have read that its not uncommon for you to be bigger at the beginning if you have had more than one pregnancy so i wouldnt worry. Everyone keeps saying i look 20 weeks plus lol
