Might be a silly question but i have read loads of posts on here that people have bled after sex. We had sex this morning - first time since we conceived!!!!! and i really expected to bleed (one of the reasons i have been putting it off) and i haven't bled................. are you supposed to bleed??????????
No, not always. But if you ever do, then have it checked out. If it is old blood, then it is probably nothing; if it is red blood, however, and everything is fine with the baby, then your doctor will probably have you abstain from sex.
I didn't bleed after sex either. At least, nothing major enough to show (I did check quite thoroughly as I was convinced like you were).
What I read in What to Expect suggested that increased blood flow can cause the cervix to become more sensitive and more prone to bleeding. My sister bled after sex during her first pregnancy, and it was because of how sensitive her cervix was.
