ovarian cysts can cause pain... I have one on my left side and it hurt like a bugger for about a week... a stabbing pain that was constant.... but now its subsided

Have you had an ultrasound this pregnancy to rule out ectopic pregnancy???? because that can also cause constant pain on one side which gets worse with activity....

Miscarriage pain on the other hand tends to come in waves and feels more like extreme menstrual cramps... The pain I feels more like stabbing.

Anyways, ovarian cysts are generally no big deal and tend to go away on their own depending on the type and size... I have a corpus luteum cyst now which measured 4cm in diameter... So essentially it's a normal cyst which will go away on it's own... no worries... But in the past I had a dermoid cyst on that same ovary which measured 9cm x 15cm (which surprisingly caused no pain at all) and that required surgery to remove. The main concern with really big cysts is that they have the potential to cause ovarian torsion... and you'd know if that happened because that's bend over and cry hysterically type pain!

yeah i've had scans done and the cysts where found then, one is 48mm and the other is 53mm i just wasnt sure what the pain was like. like i've said i've experienced 2 misscariages both being very different hence why i think im so paranoid now about it, the one i had what felt like server kidney pain for a day then general aches and pains in back/top leg and was shivering couldnt stay warm, my other misscarriage had me crippled in pain for ages was so ill with it that i could eat/move etc for over a week, was freezing yet again, very heavy bleeding with loads of clots for about 3 weeks soz if tmi (should have stayed in hosptial tbh but was sent home with no scan so went through misscarriage in house with no medical support)
