3rd degree tear

ello ladies

im just wondering if any of u ladies have had a 3rd degree tear and manage to not tear with ur 2nd babies, i am soo worried that i might tear again,
however when i went to see the consultant cause im higher risk they have offered me to have a c section, but the thought off being cut open really is worring,
i ahve to have injection to make sure i dont clot whilst being pregnant, so i read up on it and am not allowed to have spinal block nor epidural, so if i opted to ahve a c section would that mean i would have to go sleep,
its all confusing and so worried, got an appointment later this month, but just wondering wot ppl have been through instead off listenign to text books
would be really please if u cud help me

if i had a choice i wouldnt have a csection but as i had a 4degree tear i wasnt given a choice i am having the section on march1st, im scared!! I definately wouldnt want to be put to sleep! I just think that afterwards is going to be more hard work as i already have a child and then a baby too, oh can only have 2 weeks off work so after that its just me on my own. its personal preference tho lots of ppl would have prefered a csection, people dont consider the recovery process when they say that. what u thinkin of going for?

Maybe you could have a chat with a midwife? I'm not sure what the risks are of tearing again but I'm sure they'll have seen it all before. I guess there are risks of tearing with all natural births but I'm sure there are steps than can be taken to avoid or lessen. The C-section does sound a bit scary and recovery could be much longer than a tear anyway. Hope you can get some good advice from a professional honey. Xx

i was cut to avoid tearing, ive have 4 babies and im on number 5, with my first i had LOADS of stitches, my second was breech, so you can imagine,i had to be cut again. dont know how deep the cut was or how many stitches, i didnt want to know!!! lol. and my third and forth babies i tore a little with both and was left to heal naturally. i wouldnt worry too much huni, talk to your MW.

yes im goignt o talk to mi MW, but i dont see her till end off sept, however a lady foned me the other day, saying she is going to be with me all the way through pregnancy and labour she not a midwife, because im on injectionss to stop clotting and a higher risk due to being overweight and ahving this tear, with mi first i hardly saw anyone and im prob same weight now, but i have appointments all over, i cant keep up with them all, mi liccle man is onli 1 years old and everything as changed since then, i dont really want a c section, but if it stops me tearing again, i dont know wot to do, theis lady sed its better for me to ahve a c-section, but i dont know, it scares me casue im not allowed epidural nor spinal block with it,
