This is definitely normal, especially if you have had morning sickness. All my trousers are tight on me, (time for maternity pants already I think)! But I've had terrible sickness and lost a stone in the last 6 weeks.

I've lost weight in the first tri in all of my pregnancies and the midwife says it's fine because the baby takes everything from mummy! I'm also overweight already, so I don't know if it's ok to lose weight when you are a 'normal' weight to start with.

Hope this helps!

xx

I've had nausea but no actual sickness. I have done things like swap toast for fruit for breakfast. I'm eating less in a meal too, as I just can't eat too much!

Good to know it is normal!

It seems to be in the first tri that I go off loads of different foods and eat much less too. When all the nausea and food aversions go in the 2nd tri, I normally get my appetite back and start eating too much though!! OOOPS! lol

I lost about 5 lbs but couldn't get into my regular pants. I'm now in maternity pants & wish I had switched to them sooner. So comfy!

ooooh comfy definitely sounds good hippyjess! lol. I'm sick of my pants been tight and feeling like the button is gonna pop off! Time for maternity pants then, thought I might get away without them for a while longer, but I guess not! lol
