I still smoke BUT I am darn proud of myself because I have weened myself down from smoking a pack a day to 4 maybe 5 a day. My next step is the patch or the gum to stop completely. I have been a smoker for 12 years. When I saw my OB for the first time she was super happy that I instantly went from smoking a pack a day to 4 or 5 a day. That's a huge jump for me as well I hate to admit it I loved smoking lol. And smoking has been proven to be more addicitive then most drugs and well it's true but it is also will power and the wanting to quit. My husband is also a smoker but since I found out I was preggers we do not smoke in the house anymmore only outside on the patio and my hubby is not allowed to leave a pack cigarettes in the house while I am here alone all day I make him leave me a few for an 8 hour day. I don't smoke a whole cigarette at once I take a few puffs off of one and put it out. just enough to take off that craving for a few hours and I make myself wait as long as I can by keeping busy at home. So I think I am doing well on my road to being a non smoker... Can't wait to get the patch or the gum and go completely off them. they make me nauseated anyway which has helped me cut back! So brownie points for trying and working at it! I don't want to be the big round belly pregger lady waddling around with a cig in her mouth like EW!
I don't drink though never been a drinker.

Good on you girl! I was a 20 a day smoker when I got BFP. I too managed to cut down to 2 a day and now only this week have managed to stop altogether. Don't worry about what other people say, at least you are trying dam hard to stop and what you have done so far os brilliant. Keep the good work up!!
