pregnant again after 3 miscarriages - taking progesterone suppositories
this is my fourth pregnancy after three miscarriages (one at 6 weeks, one at 5 weeks, one at 12 weeks) and this time i am taking progesterone suppositories - just wondering if anyone else is? what should i expect?
I am taking them after having suffered two losses in a row. So far, I haven't really had many side effects. I am SUPER tired and my boobs hurt but I don't know if that's from the pregnancy, the suppositories or both.
Congrats on your pregnancy. I am taking them. I am about 9.5 weeks and I started taking them around 7 weeks. I have noticed that they are causing an increased appetite for me and making me more tired (I noticed both symptoms the day after I started taking them). I know that these are normal pregnancy symptoms but I think I just wasn't having them as much because I had low progesterone. Congrats!
I took them from 4 weeks to 13 weeks and they didn't make any difference as far as symptoms... only thing I may have noticed was being a little hot but didn't know that till I stopped taking them and now I am cold
I've been on them since before I was 4 weeks pregnant. Now halfway through my 9th week and I'll be on them until week 12.
I don't know what has been a side effect of the suppositories and what has just been normal for pregnancy.
The one issue I did have is with some external irritation just this past week. My doc said that can happen and to just wipe the stuff that drips out away.
I also have a tip that came in handy for another girl who had trouble getting hers in far enough so that it wouldn't pop out again I'll share if you need it but I'm quite explicit.
