hey hun,

I just got over the flu I too have hyperemsis so I wasnt sure if it was the flu or if it was just a severe case of hypermesis but i went into the doctors and he said the only thing thye get concerned about having the flu is if you cant keep fluids down and become dehydrated because that will stress the baby out. I have a doppler so i just monitor babes heartbeat anytime im feeling really down and that way i know when babe is being stressed out and not. Also if you have a fever above 100 they get a bit concerned as it means your body is overheating!

For a fever tylenol is safe to take mother risk has said. So i just take a tylenol for a fever and drink alot of electrolytes when I cant keep anything down!

Hope you feel better!

Don't worry, baby should be just fine I was running a high fever, vomitted that one morning with an oncoming flu. Called my doctor's 24-hour hotline to ask if Panadol Cold and Flu (Paracetamol) was ok. He told me nothing to panic about and Panadol was fine. I took 1 tablet, it helped tremendously. I was fine the next day, no signs of fever or flu.

Make sure you get a good rest and sleep all day and night so you can recover fast. Drink lots of water to keep hydrated.

Rest and fluids! If you can't hold down fluids that is when you need to call the Dr. I hope you recover in time to go to Paris!

Feel better soon! I can feel it coming on I woke up with a sore throat and I've had even less energy than usual today (which isn't a whole lot in the first place )

An early night and paracetamol is in order me thinks! xxx
