Animals acting differently?

Hi ya, I was just wondering for those that have animals are you finding that they're behaving differently around you? We have a little dog (Lhasa apso x bijon frise) and normally she comes up and forces herself upon me by laying on my belly/chest area. She's no light footed dog and usually puts all of her weight on my ovary area and then on my belly - she's such a lump! But I've noticed that since I got my bfp she hasn't done this. Even my dh has noticed 'cos she used to do this a lot (only dog syndrome - spoilt rotten). We're wondering if she can sense that I have a little person in me. Are you finding something similar?

Not with my cats, but my dogs aren't jumping up on me at all. My younger dog seems to know. He keeps smelling me like I smell different!

Before I knew I was pregnant I noticed my cat acting even more loving and affectionate than usual. She is a very affectionate, needy cat normally but it seems like now she is following me around constantly and sleeping much closer to me. I wouldn't go so far as to say that she knows I'm pregnant, but she can probably sense that something is up, even if its just that I smell different.

I dont have pets but my best friend has 2 cats, they never sit on me or stay for more than 30 secs to let me strike them. Before I found out I was pregnant they both curled up on me and fell asleep. Since I found out, everytime I go over there they are very loving and always want to be near me, one of them even keeps rubbing his nose against my belly! xx

My mother-in-laws cat makes a bee line for me, and sits right on my belly and puddy paws me continually when I go round their house - I think she can sense the hormones.

When I'm not pregnant I'm not her first choice ever

I have a dog and she will not leave me alone! She follows me everywhere in the house and lays by my feet when I'm sitting. She was never that clingy before.

My dog is definitely acting much more protective of me than usual. He follows me around a lot more, and when I sit down he sits right in front of me, body touching my leg, facing away - his "guard" position. It's adorable!
