Rant alert!!

So I had a thread up last night worrying about whether to take time off today after my trip to A&E yesterday, I have a threatened miscarriage!! I am still bleeding a bit this morning so based on that I have contact my boss and said that I can't come in!

And the A Hole has just text me and said 'if you are not fit for work I suggest you get a sick note'!!!

So, now I am in danger of pee'ing my dad off as he is going to now have to take me to my GP so I can beg a sick note for the rest of this week! He's already taken me to A&E yesterday, and taking me back for my scan tomorrow!!

I guess your boss doesnt know? Hopefully I would assume he would have been more understanding if he knew

well you don't have to produce a sick note unless you have more than 5 days off i think. Check your work policy, your boss sounds mean!

My boss knows! I told him immediately I was home from A&E yesterday that it was a threatened miscarriage and he never responded until I called in sick today.

I have to have it today or go in to work. Scan is tomorrow so had already asked for time off as I am still an ectopic risk so might have to stay in.

God as if u havnt got enuf on ure mind!!! I dont know what 2 suggest hun, If it was me id just tell him that it was physically impossible for me to bring one 2day, but I wud get 1 if he wants it!!!

Thank you. My Dad is on his way round to take me to my GP.. Best to get it over with then I have until Monday to try and get everything back to how it should be.

What a rubbish boss! Try not to worry and to rest and relax - know that's easier said than done. If you get a sick note you'll be signed off for at least a week -under a week you self certificate - so you should have a few days to rest next week too.
