I am Lolli, 41 and this is my third pregnancy. Have DS (15), a mmc at 10 weeks and currently 8 weeks pregnant.

After pouring over threads with ladies who had been bleeding, I thought I would post just to prove there is hope for little bleeders!

Started spotting with brownish blood at 5 weeks, had some pain and ended up being admitted with a possible ectopic. At this stage, they confirmed a intrauterine pregnancy but could only see gestational and yolk sac but no 'fetal pole'. Had to wait three weeks to get rescanned. Mainly spotted (still brown) after bd, so we stopped

Had that today and is fine. Seen HB, and lovely little bubba. They did see a haematoma approx 1 cm next to babe but they reassured me should not interfere with the pregnancy.

Anyway, I know how frightening and helpless you feel when you start to bleed. I literally cross my fingers everytime I go to toilet and peek at tissue hardly daring to look. It is also awful waiting wondering if a baby is developing, these have been three of the most stressful weeks of my life. And of course my age concerned me too.

I also have very few symptoms, no ms and slightly sore (.)(.) and am knackered but otherwise nothing.

So even though it is early days, the scan was good and I am hopeful and looking forward to relaxing and enjoyed growing my
