Had an early scan yesterday and was so releaved to see everything was OK.

My other half has been decidedly off with me about this pregnancy and he anounced last night that he doesn't really want any more children and that he's strugling to get his head round it.

I'ts like the bottom's just fallen out of my world, I don't know what to do or what he expects me to do.

I gave up my home and my work (at his request) when I had our son 2 and a half years ago, I have nothing of my own.

I don't have anyone to talk to because I don't want people to know how he's being

I think you need to sit down and discuss this fully with him, as its a little late for him to be saying that!

Hiya, sorry you are going through this, I had this 1st time I was preggo, as it was a shock, he took a while to get his head around it, after the 3 months scan really. men need time to come round, I would advise dont press it, just leave him to come out of his cave... Hey its good he has the balls to be honest about his feelings, (although a litttle late!).

Im am sure when baby is here all this will be a distant memory,

Hang in there dont let it get you too down xxx

I think he needs a dose of the silent treatment...GRRR men can be so selfish sometimes! A few weeks back I was feeling very tired and sicky and was busy doing bits around the house. I commented to my other half that a hand wuoldn't go a miss as I was feeling really rough. Do you know what he retorted with? God your not the only pregnant woman in the world and that I would just have to get on with it, the bloody cheek of it! Ignored him for the rest of the day he apologised in the end. Sammi just try and talk to him and let him know how much he has upset you, have you not got a friend you can confide in as I know it can be difficult talking to family as you won't want them thinking bad of him. Big hugs x
