I am 5 weeks pregnant and I am worried because for the last week I am noticing that I sweat during my sleep. I am not sure if this is because I use a super thick blanket.. but I am not really hot during the night. I just wake up with sweat on the back of my neck & on my back... does this happen to anyone else?
I'm 7wk + 1d & it's been happening to me for a couple weeks now. I sometimes wake up soaking wet and don't know why. I wasn't dreaming or anything, just really sweaty (yuck!). Maybe because we have more blood flowing now, that our bodies get warmer easier?!
i'm the same i sweat but i have a fan blowing on me till im almost asleep, it doesnt matter about the tog of the dovet your using as its our bodys one min we would be hot the next we would be cold and thats not down to having a cold or the way we sleep but the way our body is adjusting to carrying someone inside us
I am just worried that I am sweating at night because it's a fever? I read that fever during the first triam. is not good.. so I am just hoping that it's not a fever & it's just sweats from homone changes..
Me too! I'm 6 weeks and first noticed it about a week ago. About 3 times I have woken up dripping in sweat (ewww). I thought maybe it was caused by the progesterone pessaries I have been on, but perhaps it's down to the pregnancy. Either way, I have done a bit of research and it can be a symptom from early pregnancy... so don't worry xxx
Hiya me too - only occasionally, but it happened to wake me up 4 nights ago really badly. As you say, I didn't feel particularly hot, just with my back covered in sweat - yuck! I had my scan yesterday and all seems fine, so I guess it's just one of those things! Joy! xx
I am up drenched at some point every night since I found out I was pregnant. It's the oddest thing because I'm not normally a sweaty person. I can't even say that I'm hot when I wake up, just sweaty. It's weird but I don't worry about it too much, it's all just part of the fun of being preggers I guess.
