pink/orange discharge (worried)

I am 7+6 weeks pregnant and I have noticed some orange/pinky discharge and this is the first time I have noticed this and I am bit worried something is wrong. I feel heavy in my lower abdomen but I keep feeling like to need to let off wind or go for a poo.

I don't have much of an answer except I read spotting is very normal and common and unless it's heavy & accompanied by cramping it's usually no cause for alarm. I suppose you should call your doc/mw if you're concerned, though.

I think I will keep an eye on it over night and see what happens but I feel constipated too

I've had spotting ranging from red/brown/pink/orangey at different points in my pregnancy, from 6w onwards. I was scared so went to EPU, had early scan and found out that in my case the spotting is due to an irritable cervix and not anything more worrying. If it's just when you wipe it's prob not a problem, but if you're worried get it checked out.

I had this a few times at 8wks and 9wks so when I went for my early scan I found out i had a heamatoma which could be the cause . I was abit worried but least it was only in my discharge not when wiping... I still check now everytime I go toilet ... If it keeps happening mention it to ur midwife if it worrys you. Xxx

I have had spotting off and on the whole time as well, and even had it this morning. However, I went to my midwife appt today, and she used the doppler to hear baby's heartbeat, and all is well. The horses rode on.

Don't worry too much about it. (I know... hard to do, but I suffered an early miscarriage and all I had was spotting, so if I am telling you this, listen. lol)

Hi Poshbird,
I am just wondering if you found out what was causing the orange/pink discharge. I am 6 weeks and have just started having a similar thing happen to me. I am still breastfeeding my 11 month old so wondered whether that had something to do with it, but thought I would ask you also because from what I see on your ticker your pregnancy has progressed well
