I miscarried in september and immediately got pregnant and I am right now 8 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound last friday and everything was normal, even heard the baby's heart beat.
From saturday morning, I see brown discharge and I still have it. I see only when I wipe with a tissue. On sunday I had stretchy brown discharge too. Please help...is this another miscarriage waiting to happen or is it normal...PLs pls advice. I called my doctors office and waiting to hear from them....
I had d and c on september 22nd and I became pregnant even before I got my periods...so I am not sure of the days yet...last friday my doctor put me at 8 weeks and 1 day....so not sure about measuring dates....I am still waiting to hear from doctors office....I just don't want another miscarriage again
I've had a similar brown stretchy discharge start today too. Everyone I've spoken to so far says brown blood is old blood and as long as it's not red and there's no pain, then try not to worry. Easier said than done I know.
I've also read that if you've recently had sex, this can irritate the cervix and cause brown discharge.
After seeing a hb at 8 weeks the chance of a loss are slim. However i can understand you are worried. I had a little pink at 8 weeks but didnt last long i was told that only to worry if it got worse. My 12 week scan is in a week. Speck to your doctor agagin and see what they advise. Brown tends to be old blood and it seems a few people to experince similar at around there period time.
I had brown discharge at 7 wks and it turned out fine brown is old blood, if its not red and cramping it should be ok, if u have heard the hb that's good as the risk of mc reduces, I also had brown discharge at 19 wks aswell I now have a 3 wk old baby. Get checked out by doc, have they rang u back?
Thanks EHM, I did not know if we heard baby's heartbeat the risk of miscarriage reduces...that relieves be a bit....I did not yet hear from the doctor's office yet
I am worried cause I got pregnant so soon after my d and c....just 2 weeks after d and c!!
And I did not know I became pregnant till last friday...thought all the symptoms are just my hormones going down after miscarriage...
Try not to worry, easier said than done I know, as soon as u speak to your doc see if they can give u another scan, I'm sure things will be fine, I know how hard it is after a mc, I had one last year and it really affected my recent pregnancy I didn't stop worrying, but I was always told by my mw as long as its not bright red blood with cramping its normally fine.
im sorry to gatecrash your thread but can anyone help me , i am 3 days late and i have had lots of cloudy white cm and very wet down there but this evening it had now changed to a peachy colour with a few bits of dark brown bits in it and i have no pain or cramping but my legs and hips do ache, my boobs are really itchy and am really hoping that this means that i am now out pleeeeaaasee help me is this normal and will i still get my bfp tomorrow when i test x
I just got a call from my doctors office asking me not to worry if it is in brown color and to call immediately if I see red color blood.....they are saying its probably from the ultrasound I had on friday.....I hope they are right....
