Hi Sarah, I got implantation cramps just shortly after i found out I was pregnant ( I was four weeks) I would get these really strong cramps in my lower abdomen maybe 2 or 3 times a day and they lasted for up to 2 minutes. I was really worried about the pains because I wasn't sure what was happening as mine felt kind of like period cramps but everyones body response differently so not to worry! I'm just over 5 weeks now and they cramps have subsided It worked out the cramps started about 2 days before my period was due!
I first had cramping and twinges about 7dpo. I knew something was up that might had the twinges were like sharpe shooting pains in my lower abdomen that I had never felt before. I tested 4 days laters and got a faint bfp which continued to darken each day thereafter.
Well i was suffering from cramps a week before I tested so it was probably about 7 days before my expected period, but my periods are messed up and i get cramps all the time anyway. The only thing you can do is be patient. If you get a pregnancy test like first response that gives your a result up to 3 days before your expected period, it means that you could test tomorrow. I used a boots pregnancy test a couple of days before my expected period and my tests came back positive. Patience is key
Good luck and I hope everything works out in your favour!
I had the similar thing as BellaD - A very sharp localized pain for only a brief moment at DPO7 , then maybe a few more little twinges. Then I tested at DPO11 - caved early, but got a faint BFP then a few days later it was darker
